You could figure this out by process of elimination...

It was 19 degrees when I drove to work this morning and 24 degrees as I drove home this evening.  Enough said?   :nixweiss:

Southern Alberta (Calgary) we have all of the mountains (Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper) to enjoy skiing and all of the winter sports. Summer great riding all over and when we feel like a change we have British Columbia, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon just a day away and then Utah ,California, Nevada and Arizona a coupe of days away.

I am really surprised that no one has mentioned southern Missouri or Northern Arkansas.  Generally mild weather and some of the best roads in the US.

My wife always says that she would like for us to retire in Bella Vista, AR everytime we ride through there.  Great riding!

My vote has to go the Utah. State has everything except beaches...actually it has the sand and beaches, just lacks the sea/ocean to go with it. Nevada is nice, and has TONS of public land to mess around on if you have off road bikes.

There's a lot of Cali that isn't densely populated but still has great weather and riding.  Sierra foothills?

But you forgot to tell everyone about our wonderful taxes here in Cali...  My pick is Tucson  :2vrolijk_21:

That's what it comes down too.  I love the change in seasons in western NY but if I'm earning less money at retirement I'd choose not to pay $5,000/yr property tax, 8.25% sales tax, and 7% state income tax if I could avoid it.  Oh, and NY is the only state to charge tolls along the entire 3,500 miles of Interstate 90 (or does Mass. also, that wouldn't surprise me)

$5,000.00 in property taxes is cheap. Mine were $11,000.00 last year. 13% combined sales/gst tax on everything and a 50% personal tax rate. Wanna move to Ontario?  THE MUFFMAN
