Unfrickenbelievable, I am speechless, I knew his store here had to send all of their Screamin Eagles down there because they could get a higher price but I had no idea. Holy Crap, amazing.
Thanks Jock, that was really eye-opening, BB was absofrickenlutely right.

Wow, unbelieveable.

I can not believe those prices.

I have been in there before, but never really looked at his bike prices.

I sure am glad I have a dealer that will sell CVO's at MSRP....

Question:  In these tough economic times what is the best business model to maintain and grow your business?

In an effort to answer this question I visited Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson to see how this marketing genesis was handling this matter.

so tell us what you bought??

I'm sorry for this, but I think you meant Genius (Someone with Extraordinary intellectual and creative power) not
Genesis (an English rock band formed in 1967 or The coming into being of something; the origin).

We all knew what your talking about though. I was deciding if I and the wife were going to ride over and stay a night at Destination Daytona. Your pictures helped me with that decision. (Hell No I Won't Go) I cannot stand those fair rides or the people who run them, not to even think about the noise. I sleep good with bikes running around but fair rides outside the door, I don't think so. It's bad enough when they have Punk Rock at the bar on the other side of the parking lot. Luckily they usually stop at midnight most of the time. It's a little bit of a strain on BR though. Last time I stayed they told us they were renting the un-sold condos out to the motorcycle school over there. I don't know if they are there now though. They were getting lots of complaints from the year round residence of the place. You can only imagine what it's like. A bunch of undisciplined 18-21 year olds away from home for the first time turning the condos into college dipsy dumpsters, and no one supervising them.
I think I'll just go for a nice ride on Sunday and stay away from Daytona and surrounding area.
Nice pics of BR's show room!

There's only one reason merchandise doesn't sell, the trick is knowing which reason that one is.  In this case it is evidently come down to price.  Bet a lot of folks here never though you would see Rossmeyer drop a bike $10k at Bike Week.

That bike has been in the showroom for quite awhile. I guess they want it gone. I think I'll keep my money in my pocket, after all who wants a custom that after a few miles will stay parked more than it is rode. Now had Bush/Obama  split the billions up amongst US citizens that pay taxes, I might consider buying a custom, but not that one, maybe a custom CVO or something or just a couple of big ole custom motors for the bikes and some HD chrome that does not rust. :huepfenjump3:
