Just got home a short while ago. We had a great time and a great ride and spent the whole weekend laughing, when we weren't on the bikes.

Marty & Paula rode the furthest (from L.A.) and they just called to say that they're home now. We'll post photos later, after we all rest up.

O.K. we'll just post right here in this thread.

Marty & Paula arrived Friday afternoon. After their ride up from L.A. and being on the bike all day, we thought they'd rather go in the car......we went down to Old Sacramento and walked around all the shops, toured the Delta Queen ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delta_Queen ). The Delta Queen is a sternwheeler that used to run between Sacramento and San Francisco back at the turn of the century. It's now permanently docked and is an operating hotel and saloon in old town Sacramento water front.

We left Sacramento yesterday morning and rode 40 miles to Stockton to meet some of the other Nor Cal crew that had made plans to join us on my birthday ride. We headed up Hwy. 26. I was surprised to learn that so many from Nor Cal had never been on this road before.....you look at the photos and see why I'm surprised.....it's a mototcycle road!

This is the owner. This little restaurant is decorated in true Harley fashion......orange and black with a number of Harley related photos and prints hanging from the walls and a mixture of other items. Her husband rides, also.

Great weekend! And the CVO Crew was great, although I still question it being JC's 29th BDay. We enjoyed meeting everyone & it was a nice opportunity to pick up some roads we hadn't ridden in a while with everyone. Everyone passed my Ride Like a Pro turn (180 degree & slightly uphill) from Shenandoah Rd to Fiddletown Rd, yes it was illegal, but it was better that the other option. And yes we all did the HD thingy and ate a lot that day.

We had a great ride back to Reno, another bunch of backroads then Hwy 50 to 89 and around Lake Tahoe, weather was jsut perfect and then of course we ate again, at the Bridge Tender in Tahoe and finished the trip over Mt Rose & home.

I was in Phoenix all day Monday so I haven't gotten to pic's yet. Will post up some if I have anything any different.

And if you wondering, no I did not get to clean the MC

It will be dirty for another couple days before I can get to it. Although maybe I won't sleep tonight and get it clean, I just hate it being dirty..... guess you all knew that though

Mike rode with us on JC's B-Day Ride after leaving the Pashnit Gathering. We all made bets on how long his motor was going to run before it blew up by the sound of it. Well here he is braggin on 50k miles now.
