You mean with all those fancy GPS & Google machines you ride with, that you didn't have the hrs. of opns. available before making that trek?  You're slipping, Porthole.  har.  spyder

Still my favorite Spy, is GLBGPS, pronounced glib-gips  :2vrolijk_21:

How'd you guys make any time stopping at all the dealers?
Well Duane, That's a very good question. We did not make very good time. Thats why it
took us almost 2 full days to get to MV. We rode back in one day with no dealer stops. I have to
admit that I love to stop at all the dealers that I can stop at. Always looking for bikes in colors
that I have not seen before. For instance, Rocket Harley had 2 2013 red CVO Road Kings and
Asheville Harley had a Blue 2013 CVO Road King and I had not seen either color. I just love
looking at the new bikes and since I was in the business I also like looking at how the dealers
stores are layed out and how much inventory they have.

If it makes you feel any better, Bubba... I don't take family pics, LOL... Good job on the pics though. You must be trying out for Jocks replacement.

Paul trust me I wished I could takes pictures half as good as Jock does.
He does an AWESOME job but I'm afraid I would fall way short living up to Jocks duties.

I'm finally uploading my 394 pix (Debi is a camera dog on the back of the bike) to photobucket. I'll post a few decent ones and a link to the rest of them.

Ok, I'm not sure what all pix I got in that album as there's now over 400. Here's a few of the ones that I don't think are replicated as of yet.

One for MikeyTee  :2vrolijk_21:

Caught Jock in action

Friday morning ride back from Asheville

chasing Ken up the Rattler

over the shoulder shot of the 660

Heading somewhere

On the BRP (I think)

'bout the only way we got in front of Mark is I think he stopped at a dealer to look at bikes and then caught us  ::)

We don't get to see this up here.

Right over there....

On the way home, traveling with 1abea, 12beasrme, hell with it, Dave ;D

Here's a link to the whole album if you're really bored. They're not in order very well. I had some issues with PB after not uploading a ton of photos for a long time. There's some dupes and even trips in there.

Another year has passed and the tradition continues!  As a matter of fact it was ten years ago when the first gathering in Maggie Valley occurred.  Since then this gathering has now grown to what appears to be ~ 100+ motorcycle enthusiast sharing a passion for their rides and the experiences they bring to our lives.

This year MIKEYTEE and a few of his krewe have stepped up to host the event!  Something tells me that this event will not be forgotten and it has not even begun yet!  I want to thank Mike and the krewe for all of their efforts, energy, planning and hard work for this epic event.

In my travels I have often been asked “Why Maggie Valley every year?” referring to the east coast members and our repeat location for the past decade.  My response, “Why don’t you come see for yourself?”  Words can’t explain it, you have to experience it yourself!  By now it may too late for you to attend this year’s event but I hope you can join us in the future!

In the meantime I have decided to continue this thread adding to the experience.   I encourage each of you to share your own 2014 Maggie Valley photographs and experiences.  Keeping the memories alive and sharing the experience!

See ya there!
