Anyone have a solution for a windshield bag for our vented windsplitter windshields? All the dealers I've visited tell me nothing is available. HD online informed me part number 58297-94 would be compatible, but can't tell me how it fastens.

I sure miss the convenience of a bag up front!

Any suggestions?

Found this yesterday, but unconfirmed if it'll actually work. I have a small mint invested in bags that I was told would work, but never did.

I'm in the process of making a bracket that will mount to the windshield, allowing the use of any HD windshield bag. In the meantime, sometimes you make do with what you have.

After 2 years, finally purchased a stock windshield off of a 2013 Road King Classic just for the brackets. Then purchased a dark tint 16" windshield from Freedom Shields and a new windshield bag from a local Harley dealership. Looks great (IMO), lost the rattling noise of the windsplitter and finally have the windshield bag for convenience.

I also replaced the 13 windshield with a stock Road King shield, then bought
the Freedom Road Tinted windshield,
stock was just way to low

I'm going to go with a bag set up like this
and then have the new GPS Zooz screen mounted dead center on the handle bars
will have to make a custom bracket, have it chromed but that should not be to hard

maybe this weekend now with the new camera I'll get the bike out and take some pics
