My first Harley, back in 1971.
« on: January 24, 2020, 05:00:34 PM »

Well back in high school I was lucky enough to have my first HD. A 1951 flathead.  Found it in some guys back yard as a basket case.  Cost my 75 bucks.  Did a amateur resto on it.  Sadly I later sold it within a year to buy a Yamaha trail bike.  Sold for 300 bucks. :(

Wow. That is cool. I don't personally know to many people that owned a bike like that. Love them old bikes.

One of those bikes that you wish now you still had it.

Not a Harley  but this 1939 Panther I had in 67 is one I wish I still had.

I've posted this bike on this forum a couple of times over the years (I've been here awhile!) but many new members since then.

This is my pan/shovel in about 77.....
