Hey, Mark, what's the latest with the bearing brace? :nixweiss:

And, just so I stay on topic for this thread . . . . Please spare me the details about how nice and sunny and warm it was down there today.   :sauer019: :sauer021:

Yesterday I sent Tim 2 all the information I was able to find here on this site and told him to call GP. He called me back and told me he and Brian were sure they knew what the problem was. He asked since Brian was deep into a bike and would be tied up a couple more days on it could it wait? I said sure since it was 70 and sunny today and going to be better for the rest of this week, I would be getting the SED out. Tommorrow 75 and sunny!  Didn't mean to rub it in. ;D ;D ;D ;D

So they just "knew what it was" but didn't say if that was a good or a bad thing?  Hope they're able to make it work for you.  Really hope the crank run out wasn't scary.

What burbs you from in Illinois? I'm from Palos Heights, I was back with the bike last june and did some riding with freinds, I miss it, but not this time of year!
Hawthorn Woods. Yep, I wish I could fly the coop up here, but moving the business and uprooting the family just isn't in the cards.   :(

I am thinking the same thing, But I also think I know the answer. I talked to George (owner of GP) about reports of vibration  when setting up the group buy and he stated that it is caused by either excessive runout on the crank or alignment of the drive train. Not sure about the drive train but he told me that it definately will affect the vibration......

Back on to topic, rode her to work today. With my heated Gerbing jacket and gloves on, I was all warm and toasty. It was 40 on the way in and is going up to 65. Going to get a nice ride out to a favorite lunch spot this afternoon. ;D When I came in all the others guys that have bikes said "chit, I wish I'd have ridden mine"
Ahhhhhh, a good way to finish off February. Springs-a-commin! :sunny:

Hurrah! Spring is definitely coming.  :bananarock:
High 30's to work; mid 50's comin' home!
The Deuce is a great ride, irregardless of the sand piles/ant hills still left on every corner of every street.
