You know, you're the only other person I every heard say that.  I thought that about the '07 Springer (which I bought to replace my Deuce).  The handling of the Springer is also pretty similar to the Deuce's, though the Springer front end is better.  I love the Springer, but am still not crazy about the rear fender - and didn't like the Deuce's much either.  Tell you what I would like - that new Rocker fender on the SE Springer...

I agree...I would like a custom rear fender that hugs the tire and has the LEDs built into the curve over the tire so that it is unseen with engine off, rather than that wave rear fender.

I guess I am one of those that is not too impressed by the 08 CVO lineup.  Aside from the colors (which I do not care for all that much, however, I will not pass final judgement until  see in person since the website never really does them justice), I see very little changes.

If I had to make the choice on a new 08 Harley, I guess my decision would be to get the new Softail Rocker with the vivid black and red pinstripe paint job for $19k and put about $3- $4K into the motor.

Then again, it is almost five years later, every time I uncover the 2003 SED I say, "I don't care what they come out with, I still love this bike"!

I know what you mean.  I have an 04 Yellow/Platinum SE Deuce, and I don't think Harley can improve on my bike.  I will never sell or trade this bike.  I get excited everytime I look at it.  It is truly a piece of American art.
