Now that we have your attention. With the recent snow melt we were able to uncover our scooters and remove them from the heated garages. All the salt has been cleaned from the roads, so lets ride said Mark and Marty! We can meet at Docs, the lake has thawed out, grab some coffee and treats Terry always put out for us, hug each other for surviving the brutal winter and ride.
Start of our day on Docs patio. L-R, John, Mike, Jimmy, Dave, Terry, and Janice.
-
Some of those thawed out scooters.
-
First stop was to remove long sleeves and sweatshirts. For some reason Don was on all our minds, couldn't figure it out. Note the snow capped mountains.
-
Mark, so glad to have you home. Telling me "That's Right, It's Mine"
-
Nice line of scooters.
-
The brutal winter took it's toll on this poor tree.
-
Back to riding towards our lunch.
-
Being ever so careful, you never know where the snow plow missed a section of road.
-
A little fuzzy, but wanted to show the snow capped mountains again.
-
One of the many dangerous corners we encountered! Wow, we all made it!
-
Another of Hells Corner! Jimmy and Janice puckered up.
-
Marty volunteered to ride shotgun, you know, in case of a breakdown or something like that.
-
As Lou said, Our Hippy Lunch Stop.
-
After such a hard ride as this, Marty was relieved to have made it here safely.
-
Our line up!
-
More of the CVO line of beautiful scooters.
-
The view of a CVO most others see, our backsides!
-
Janice and Terry.
-
Looks like a 60s album cover!
-
Our room for lunch.
-
Waiting for the snow in the shady sections to be cleaned so we can be seated.
-
Mark, Lou, and John with his back to the camera.
-
Some of the literature available.
-

You've been hanging around the wrong crowd again Mark

I meant 2" of snow. PERSONALLY, I hope I never get any inches ever. I'm not that kind of guy. :P

You're right! That picture was taken of me 3 yrs ago when I had been sick with a sinus infection that lasted 6 months! Our band was playing at a local bar for Halloween. -Finally got better after 3 surgical procedures. I was feeling so bad that night I could hardly play my guitar.
I've always lived by Alice's words in Welcome to my Nightmare- "We sweat and laugh and scream here, 'cause life is just a dream here".
I was doing all three in that pic. :drink:

Big Alice fan here as well. Wife hates when I walk around singing I Love The Dead.
