I went from ab 07 Utra to 12 RG custom. I love the looks and riding behind the roadglide fairing. I miss the tou pack storage, heated grips and seat, garage door opener, and lowers in the rain. I have added XM radio which was a challenge but doable, travel with a soft strap on touring bag and overall love the bike. I loved the Ultra too but had to try a roadglide. Overall I am happy I did. It's only money ;D

Wasn't a CVO Ultra (02 ultra) I traded on the sergu but there's no regrets at all on my end.

I owned a 2011 ultra limited and the handling on that bike was so much better then my CVO. I have put on a taller shield for buffering and Progressive monotubes in and have a new set of 944's waiting to go on if I keep the bike. Tired of spending money to make it handle as good as the limited. I have a 12 FLHX and its a dream to ride and I miss that on the CVO

Batwing vs Sharknose. I noticed differences but they don't bother me. I probably just don't know any better as I've never ridden an RG that had suspension work done to it.  :-X

I traded my 2011 FLTRUSE for a 2012 FLTRXSE. The skunk is lighter and faster and is really the bike I've wanted all along. There are times I miss the heated seat/grips and tourpack, but this is an incredible ride. I can always add the tourpack back on if I really need it.

Have had 09 CVO Ultra, 10 CVO Street Glide, 11 CVO Road Glide Tour and just purchased the 2013 CVO Road Glide Custom. So far, hands down, the best bike was the 09 Road Glide Ultra. It has all of the extras like heated seats, grips, nab, lowers etc and handles like only a Road Glide does. I was disappointed that they did not come out with this bike ins 2012 or 2013 so decided to pull the trigger on the 2013 in Orange. I ordered the tour pack for now and most likely will not add the lowers, satelite radio etc. For my money, this is not even close. I am in line for the next CVO Road Glide tour bike made.

So, I have owned ( in order ), 01 FLTRSEI2, 06 FLHTCUSE, 07 FLHTCUSE2, 08 FLHTCUSE3, 09 FLTRSE3, 11 FLTRCUSE, and 12 FLTRXSE, so here is my point, I have always been happiest on Road Glides, I believe they handle better, and offer better wind protection. In the end it's a lot like woman, you should go with your heart, not your brain.
P.S. Still own and riding the 11 and 12.

Sold my 2009 FLHTCUSE and bought a 2011 SERG and went back to a 2011 SESG.    Just couldnt make it work for me 5 windshields and 2 seats later it just wasnt for me or my BSR.   Had lots of wind and buffering that I just couldnt get rid of felt like a bobble doll.
