Well it is winter in TN, nothing but rain for days.  In January Docks next to my house you can walk on dry ground out past the end of the dock, TVA keeps them at winter pool, about 5 feet down.  Here is this morning, still raining.  For referance the bottom of the pontoon boat is 18 inches above the walking area of the dock.  So the lake is 4 feet over summer pool and about 9 feet over winter pool

Dave, Looks like you better make sure the Ark is ready to go. Here we rode Saturday and Sunday over 70 degrees. Been raining since Monday, calling for 3 inches today then snow starting this evening.  :nixweiss:

PKL......Looks kinda bleak,  hopefully you enjoy fishing too cause you sure live in prime territory for it.

My Grandpas farm was in Harperville,  a tiny little berg between Carthage and Forest.  As a kid,  we fished a lot of creeks in the area and many farm ponds as most every farmer had one.  Lots of fond memories of many good times in that area. :drink:

moscooter, i know where that is. I'm about 40 miles from there. Too cold for fishing. It is supposed to be high 50's to 60 sat and sun so I guess I'll just wait and ride.

Send some of that rain to Oklahoma.... we need it in the worst way!  It's drier than a popcorn fart in a whirlwind here in Okla.  All the lakes are down 8' to 12'.  We have towns already rationing water..... in the dead of winter.  Lots of trees are dead or dying (big trees).  If we have another hot dry summer, like the past two,,, Oklahoma will turn into a desert.
