Title: Zanotti's Are They Open
Post by: 1sharprdkg on December 16, 2011, 10:54:59 PM
OK did I miss a memo? Tried to look up a couple part numbers on the Zannotti's site...all I could get was a link to PDF file of there remaining inventory. Just comparing prices. Checked Surdyke, pretty good prices. Always checked both sometimes one would be a little cheaper than the other. What other places is everyone using?

Did not try to contact Surdyke. I just entered the part numbers I wanted on there web page and it gave me a price. I have bought a lot of stuff from them never had a problem...check price, add them to cart, check out, bing, bang, boom, box on front porch in a few days. Don't know maybe you should give it another try?  OH!! Just noticed your sign in, if you live in British Columbia, that is the problem. Can only sell in the US as of Aug.1st. (I think)

Yep, missed that one Twolane. Seems odd to me that they would just retire, close and walk away. :nixweiss:

That's odd that they didn't sell the business as opposed to just closing the doors.

lshd1.com for me also when I go outside of my local dealer.

I for one will miss John Holland, Zanottis internet parts guy. Great service and a real gentleman.

As far as discount dealers, my vote goes to Rebecca at Tri County HD in Ohio, or Jon Horton at Horny Toad HD in Texas.

I live in BC but all parts are shipped to a US address.  Can't even get a parts price after filling out the form. :-\ :nixweiss:

I posted on the closing down of dealerships but will post here since it's pretty direct to Zanotti. A team from Zanotti's is now working with New Castle H-D. Got an email from CJ and it sounds promising, said it was ok to let people know.
