Running an errand today took me north on Interstate 90 about 20 miles...  On the way, I hit some traffic and flashing police lights in front of me...an apparent accident...

When I got to the scene, there was a Street Glide and an Ultra Classic in the median of the highway. 

The strange/surprising/incredible/crazy part was the Ultra Classic was on a trailer behind the Street Glide.   ???

Yep...a Street Glide pulling a trailer with an Ultra Classic on board.  The trailer was still upright with the Ultra still it, but the Street Glide was on it's side.  The rider and passenger were leaning against the police car.  That side of the interstate had some construction going on, and was reduced to one lane right at the accident site. 

My guess is the traffic stopped and the Street Glide couldn't...  Wish I had time for a photo, but given the circumstances, it wasn't prudent...  I wonder what the ticket said....

Approx 850 lbs pulling 950 lbs plus the weight of the trailer.
The Street Glide has the power to pull it (although not well) but clearly as the accident shows the Street glide can't stop it.
That's a little crazy, , , , OK, , , a lot crazy.

I had toyed with the idea of making a "tail dragger" to pull one of my sport bikes to Daytona.  Careful consideration said it was more weight than I wanted behind the SEUC.  But this...is CRAZY!  :nixweiss:

Back in the 70s there was a guy on a Suzuki Water Buffalo that towed his 125 MX bike to the races at Mid East MX track in Chesapeake, VA.  Thought that was cool at the time.

So how many of you tow a trailer that weighs more than your vehicle..............yea you say it has brakes so that makes it OK :2vrolijk_21:

Before you talk negative about this setup........did the trailer have brakes?........before we say negative things about anything shouldn't we have all the facts.............yes they make brakes for motorcycle trailers........

I personally won't comment about this guy's setup because I don't have all the facts
