Saddlebag Locks for Roadgilde
« on: December 04, 2011, 08:00:10 AM »

I want to change the saddlebag latches and locks on my wife's FLTR but don't want to have 2 different keys ( one for bags, one for ignition ) . How hard is it to change out the ignition key lock? Also, does anyone know if I can even order order all 3 keyed alike? . This probably should have been the first question.

  Thanks in advance.

Why not order saddlebag locks keyed to the ignition? :nixweiss: That I think would be the easiest to change out of the two. I know you can order locks for TP's keyed to your ignition as many of us that have bikes that didn't come w/TP's have done that when we've added TP's.

Also if you are changing to anything close to the latches you have now, changing the latch locks is a piece of cake. But as d00d said, if you are getting them from Harley, cost no more to provide them the key #. Another good thing 'bout changing the lock is you would have a key to the old latches if you gonna givum to someone.

Jerry, tour pak, saddlebags and ignition locks can all be ordered by themselves and keyed to match to your existing key code.  There is also a part number for a complete bike set of locks.  So whichever way you'll wish to go you'll have the option.

Thanks guys. I'll order the saddlebag locks to match the ignition key. This will make mama happy and we all know how that works.   :)
