Went past this pub on the way home yesterday. The pub was, back in the day the watering hole for the public events that took place that the pub is named. The pub is the original pub on the same site, but over time has been renovated in keeping up with the times. It's just a stones throw from the tower of London where the gruesome activities took place. The horror of those days of our past have long gone but the name of that pub is a reminder of what went on back in the day. .
