Arlen Ness Modular Handlebars
« on: March 15, 2015, 07:19:39 PM »

Neighbor put a set of these on his Road King, I really like the look.  They state not compatible with hydraulic clutch.  Does anyone know exactly why?  Is it due to the adjustability?

Thanks

Yaffe MBB also say not compatible with hydraulic clutch but work fine. I'm guessing they are not clearanced for the clutch but may work anything

They don't go with anything on a Harley.  I mean nothing else on your bike has sharp right angles.  If you put these on your bike, you're going to have to change a lot of other things for them to not look like a mis-match.

But a lot of people don't have any sense of design and so they'll throw anything on their bike.  Those are the bikes that end up looking like they rode through Pep Boys Auto Parts with a junk magnet.

JC your probably right his bike is tricked out big front wheel, a lot of sharp corners and powder coated everything. He added a fairing for tunes and even it goes well with the bars.  Bars are powder coated too except for the joint pieces he left chrome plated.

Thanks for the wakeup. Sure would have hated to have bought them and not liked them.
