I'm posting this for a Friend,,,Please tell us what and how to check for..
I installed a Sirius Radio Kit on my 2012 Street glide SE. I used the
cigarette lighter on the faring for my power source. It worked fine for the
first hour sitting in the drive way with the bike in accessory mode. I lost
power after a few minutes of riding and then it would come back on for a
while and then quit again. It finally stopped working all together after
about an hour of riding. I did some trouble shooting after the ride. I
discovered it's not the power cord as I tried it in my truck and it works
fine. I plugged a few other devices into the bike cigarette lighter and they
did not work either. I checked all the fuses as well, all were good. I did
notice that the ACC light (next to the cruise button) does not light up now.
Trying to figure out why I lost power to my cigarette lighter?? The bike
runs great and everything else works fine electronically wise.
