Going to be a high of 47 next week. Needs a couple good rains to wash the salt off the roads. Can't wait to pick up the new bike and ride.

I know what you mean.  Last week here in Honolulu it dipped into the low 70's.  Had to wear two t-shirts. :-(

Finally have a pick up date to bring her home from the dealer. We've had terrible weather and the salt has just now been washed away. It has been paid for but waiting for clean roads. April 13th is the date that looks good in the extended forecast. Rain every day next week. I don't mind riding in the rain but want to bring it home dry so I can look at a nice clean bike in my garage before I get it dirty.

I'm in the NW burbs of Chicago....you get the crap I get, about 2 hours later, only a little worse!  I bought my 15 CVO Street Glide in December.  It was delivered to my house with 1 mile on it!  I haven't ridden it for the same reasons!  There is soooooooooo much salt everywhere!  I have my exhaust sitting at the house...waiting for a few good rains so I can get to the dealer 8 miles from me to get it out on!  Soon enough my friend....soooooooon enough!

Kent County literally salted the roads last week while it was raining.  I was hoping that rain was the one to wash it off.
