Damn, I'm a idiot. Screen tells me prompt volume is muted. Turn up the volume and figure out when the radio cuts out it's giving me directions. Someone had loaded a route at the dealership. Sad thing is I've taken the bike back three times with this issue and they finally ordered a new system!!!!!!!!!! Seems like they would have checked.  :nixweiss: Confidence in dealer is pretty small right now. But I'm finally goooooood.  :apple:

What, almost two weeks after I told you to check that? I knew that was what is was going to be, like I stated above, because so many people do not realize that the CB, VOX or Navigation is activated, and they have that device's volume muted, they just think the radio is the problem, I promise this has to have happened to hundreds  and maybe even more hundreds of people.

Glad you figured it out! The complicated system can be a real challenge sometimes. :drink:

Will have to check this on mine.   My real issue is the toggle on the left handlebar sometimes won't allow me to control the volume.  Now that is annoying, also if I push it in, it should go to the home screen, but now toggles between the inputs.  Guess I need some alone time with it. But it's the same system (I think) as my SGS.

You have the "Classic Mode" selected in the set up area, go into setup and scroll down to Classic Mode and remove the check mark from the box, this will make the left toggle go to the Home Screen when you push it, whereas if you check the box (which you have done) it will scroll thru inputs.

Has anyone had an issue with the volume? I have two new bikes, Street Glide Special and CVO limited. The stereo is louder on the Street Glide than the CVO. The Street Glide does not have an amp but does have speakers in the lowers. I noticed on a ride last week the volume was good when we took off on the ride and after 50 miles, the volume was cut in half. Stopped for a bite to eat, hour later got back on the bike and volume was okay again.

I'm also having the issue of the stereo cutting out for a second or two. I'll have to check this out but I don't think it's cutting out long enough for a prompt of the GPS.
Snowing here today so the dealer picked both bikes up to take care of some issues. I'll have them look at the GPS prompt.

I don't know for sure, but since you mentioned "while riding", I would maybe look at it being a AVC issue. I know that most people are having problems with the AVC staying set once the bike is turned off, and so  you have to turn it off and back on each time you ride and it will function correctly until you shut down the bike. Your issue may be something totally unrelated, I'm not sure.
