just landed in Madrid, now Im having to wait a couple of hours before I can check in, and with a 12 plus hour flight and all of the delays and floods down in Texas which meant I had to leave the house 4 hours early just to get the airport,
I'm pooped!

bike is on blocks so to speak while I'm gone,
not sure if it will ever dry out in Houston to ride,

and here it's freak'n awesome  weather wise,
10 days and I don't speak a word of Spanish

Is this adventure for work or play?  Will you get to ride any while there?  Be safe and hope the trip is a good one for ya.  As for not speaking the language, if you have a HD shirt on, that can help to eliminate lots of translation issues...

You can always do like my Hispanic employees.....what every they say just look at them and say "si (pronounced see)", smile and shake your head up and down.

By the way.....for some incredible weather (year around!) San Diego is much closer.
