HD Branded Bike Stand
« on: May 29, 2015, 09:01:48 AM »

I was in my local dealer the other day and saw a HD branded bike stand that looks to be a re branded Condor Pit Stop http://store.condor-lift.com/products.php?product=Pit%252dStop%7B47%7DTrailer%252dStop.  The only difference that I can see is that the one at the dealership has a HD sticker instead of the Condor sticker on the riser.  The patent numbers listed on the item are the same as the ones on Condor's site.  Any one here have any info on this stand?  Been looking to get one of these for a few years now, and keep finding reasons to not buy it.  the HD one is unbelievably cheaper than the Condor.

I believe this is the HD stand you are speaking of - Cruiser Cradle Wheel Chock - Trailer Only Version-92900042... Doesn't surprise me that the MoCo is carrying them (HD branded)... does surprise me that their brand is less expensive. :shocked2:

It is a Condor PS-1500.  If you peel the H-D sticker off, it says Condor underneath.   I have 3 of them.   When the dealership has 20% or 25% off sales, I picked mine up.   It's rare to see Condor products on sale.

Thanks Tim, that's kinda what I thought.  I have some store credit to use up and thought I would use it on something I didn't really need...besides more t-shirts.

Have 5 of these, when I had an issue with one of the dowels that hold the bottom cradle Condor took care of it.    I also bought the trailer piece to put them in the trailer about 20 bucks if i remember correctly.

Mine is exactly like this, d00d, only it's a Condor.  And, you're right about the price.  Think I paid $229.00 for mine, +freight, 4 or 5 years ago.

They are rebranded Condor's, but you can buy the HD cheaper if they are having a 20% off sale. I have a couple, one in garage and one in trailer. They are great and if you have a problem call them, they actually act like they want to help you.

Kevin,

A lot of people like these.  Maybe I never found the right way to hold my mouth (or the right adjustment), but I always had a very hard time getting the bike out of the stand.

I now use the WheelDock stand http://www.wheeldock.com/store/item/wheeldock, and have no problem.

Apparently you are doing something wrong, I have never had a problem getting bike out of chock. Just put feet on floor and rock once and roll out. Maybe you had the foot the tire sits in in the incorrect position? It is adjustable for tire dia.

Bought the Condor this year at Daytona.  Bought 2; one for me, one for a friend.  As I recall, we got 10% off, threw in the trailer kit, and free shipping.  bought the last Saturday of Daytona for 225.00 each, including tax. End of rally might be the key for discounts.

That's what I thought, but I adjusted the rocker to every position and tried each position with a 21", 18", and 16" diameter front tire.  No joy at any position or any tire size.  Which is why I have the WheelDock chock now.
