So, I checked for codes and got P1691. I looked thru all my books, and PDFs on this site. I called my dealer, and believe it, or not, they said they don't know what that code is. So, do any of you know what this code is?
Thanks in advance,
William

P1691 is supposedly for the left radiator cooling fan low/open.  I'm guessing this was a late addition to the list, because the list I have that claims to be up to date through 2014 doesn't show this code.  I've run into more than a few that weren't in the lists but I was able to eventually find them with an online search by the particular code.  Check your cooling fan to see if it operates (ignition on, engine off, twist throttle grip to more than 50% and hold - the fans and water pump should run - turn off ignition when done checking).

If anyone on the site has the latest and greatest Electrical Diagnostic Manual for 2015 perhaps they would like to scan the pages with the DTC's and post them on the site?  Lots of people used to do this in the past, but since about 2010 even an internet search doesn't find much for late model bikes.  If I had the manual I would gladly do it myself, but I haven't seen the need to buy one since I don't have a late model bike.
