Looking for POWER VISION advice
« on: July 08, 2015, 09:29:25 AM »

Hi Guyz,

I have power vision on my 2014 flhtk. I am looking for someone who knows how to utilize the most out of it. I am trying to tune a situation out.

Ok so now you are asking "What's the problem?"

My mods are high flow air cleaner, S&S Dual exhaust with crossover and no cat with thunderheader slip-ons.

My issue is AND this could be normal but when I am decelerating and in 1st gear and creeping along the bike tends to start to chug and hunt (does not seem to idle along). It is very annoying. Is it just me and every bodies does this or can this be tune out. I also find that when idling it tends to idle a little fast then slow. It is hard to explain in words.

I would appreciate if I could call someone to HELP.

Only thing I can suggest is try to find someone who dyno tunes with PV. PV should have a list of tuners who use their product.

Have you made any attempt to do an basic auto tune session with the PV??
This precisely the types of situations the system was designed to take care of, minor repeatable driveability issues.
Study up on how to do the basic auto tuning and give it a try, most likely you can fix it yourself, and if not just reload your initial tune.

Where did you get your PV? What map are you using?
If you bought from Feul moto, Jamie will certainly help you out.
If not from FM then contact DynoJet about a starting map and then run the basic autotune mode a few times.

Thanx guys

This is the tune I am using from dyno jet

Year:2014-2015 Model: Touring - Twin Cool Stage 1 air cleaner True dual head pipes (no cat) Bassani slip-ons

Only difference is I have thundercone slipons not Bassani and my true dual has the cross over in it.

I have done 1 auto tune basic so far and plan on doing another

You don't even have to do the auto tune through the entire operating range, just focus your efforts in the area you're having issues with.
Do the idle area, then the low speed areas, no reason to do cruise areas if you don't have a problem there.

Check and see if the "0"% throttle position tables (column) has all "0"s.

If it has any other values other than "0" set all to "0" ("0"% throttle position only)
