Throttle body
« on: August 08, 2015, 09:13:21 AM »

I bought a 103 from a 2005 cvo eg I am putting it on my 2005 ultra classic. I am building it up some with head work and cams. My question today is about the throttle body and injectors. What should I be using the motor did not have it on it. Will the intake from my 88 work. Thanks

the 88 tb should be fine. The 103 from this time was an 88" with the the 95" big bore and a stroker crank. The injectors may be different though. i replaced my cvo 103 injectors with a pair from zippers recently. they also had the hemi head design. Great engine

As long as the throttlebody is a 43mm or larger you should be ok.  The injectors were 4.35  some of the SEEGS came with 25 degree and some with the 8 degree injectors most cases the 8 degree were swapped out to the 25 degree injectors by harley.   Back in the day a lot of people swapped out the 43 for the FLHX 50mm that came out in 06 or bought the 50mm SE Throttlebody.
