The CB module is plug and play. I ordered the J&M internal antenna but the reception was very poor. A frame mounted antenna must be better.

I bought the 76410-09 antenna kit from HD and made myself a bracket.

I am very pleased with the results

The bracket. In the winter i will reshape it and spray it black

I have the internal antenna that Harley installed and I have never had an issue with reception. I don't know who makes the brand they install but this is my second Harley with this brand and they have both worked perfectly.

. But, it wasn't a CB antenna, just the radio.

I just installed the J&M Hidden antenna and it works great talking with friends and as a sweep rider on a group ride.
