I feel like an outlier with my love of Dream Theater, Drowning pool, Amon Amarth, etc... in addition to all the other bands mentioned above. If the song has a killer guitar riff, I'm a fan.







Or should some of the bands above be classified as death metal?  :nixweiss:

You're no outlier on Dream Theater. Virtuosos on every instrument. LaBrie is aging, but everything up to around 2005 or 6 he sounded great.
