Over the years, I have owned several engines that used Nikisil coatings on the aluminum cylinders. Merc Outboards. Honda motocross bikes, even Harleys, never had an issue. A good friend is has put over 80K on a 98" kit I did for him over 10 years ago. If there are any issues with these 124 Nikisil barrels I will be the first to speak out. Honestly, I have much greater concerns about running a 725 lift cam. Now I'm going into uncharted territory!

Love mine. I did have to add a better oilcooler with fan assist. Also for extra cooling I put a set of ward head cooling fans along with a tts and Dyno tune to help it run cooler. It runs strong and I am thrilled with it performance.
