This guy is pretty sharp.  Although he's talking about an 8 cylinder engine, you can relate many of his comments to a V Twin.  Other than some of his tuning comments (I would guess he doesn't personally do any tuning), I can't disagree with much of anything he talks about...  An interesting few minutes of video...
