Same here.

Perhaps the best money I've spent at a Harley dealer.

The one i haven't bothered with is the parts book. It doesn't update with part# revisions and I keep changing so many things...that it doesn't seem all that useful to have.

There's a link to an on-line parts manual.

Even if there are revisions the core # usually remains the same and only the alphabet will change (most of the time) and even if the entire number is changed when you go to the dealer to purchase the part when they look it up it will show in there database the new number. Much better (IMO) to have some starting point then to go in and totally rely on the guy/gal at the parts counter to look up and provide me w/the correct P/N. :nixweiss:

I still always start with the parts manual.  If for nothing other than the exploded views.  The parts lists are the next benefit.  Have entire pages in my parts manual that I've redrawn in a CAD file with new exploded views and new part numbers so my manual is still accurate.  They go on road trips with me so should there be a break down there is absolutely zero worry about some numnuts knowing what needs to be there.
