:-[I guess I have to plead guilty! :-[

I know I would not have really been that upset by my paint, but once I saw the way it was supposed to be I could think of nothing else.  :-/

I am very happy with this bike [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif], but much more so after the new paint.  But if not for this site. . .  [smiley=nervous.gif]

[highlight]This site breeds issues[/highlight]. Ever wonder what percentage of '06 SEUC owners ever complained about their paint? Well I was told it was less than 12%! And of those 90% were the direct result of this site. Most owners don't take their bike out into bright sunlight and examine the paint match or mis-match with a high intensity light like some of us did to discover error. Granted some of us have had "REAL" issues with our bikes. [smiley=soapbox.gif]

OK, you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours. Wait. Never mind, Keep yor hands off of me. I WILL totally agree with you 100%. EXACTLY. Don't forget, some people knelt on the ground, and shine the high intensity light upwards under the gas tank before they found the flaw. I can honestly say, I haven't checked the underneath side of my gas tank for paint flaws. I've never crawled underneath my Chevy pickup to check the coatings there neither. Yes, I sincerely love this site too.

If the paint on my bike truly was NOT right I'd for sure carry it to the dealer and you better bet your sweet a$$ he'd make it right.

This site is like a news service which always publishes bad news. This site accumulates the most active part of CVO owners community and of course they are willing to share their issues with the bike.  I do not think though that what happens here can be used in any proper statistical way to decide on what the real issue is or isn't. I find this place to be very friendly and open about the issues with a slight gearing towards admiration of HD products and CVOs in particular.

Thats why we buy these bikes. We know that there will be some issues but they would not spoil the joy of owning and riding them.

Just my 2 cents

This site gives people the chance to vent about problems and get advice about solutions. In addition to providing some really great people to become friends with.

Every group that has something exclusive and different will always gravitate to what could be better or what could be different. Hind sight is always 20/20. ("Wow, Ford should have moved the motor mount forward two inches so I could access that bolt easier")

I love this site and the people on it. Never have I "met" more friendly, giving people than here.
