110 cam help
« on: December 14, 2015, 11:19:07 PM »

Finalized my upgrade parts for my 2012 CVO 110.  going with the SE 110 stage 3 kit that has 10.5:1 pistons, Super tuner, HD clutch spring , perfect fit push rods/ Also adding 58MM throttle body and SE high flow injectors.

Now i need some help:  I 'm going with the 585 cam for the torque.   Can anyone with knowledge of cams help me decide. SE 585
or the S&S 585 cam??  my bike has the automatic compression release valves.

The S&S .585 is more of a midrange cam than the SE. The SE is advertised for heavy touring bikes wanting torque down low.

The 585 cam is going to a bit big for that set up for low end TQ..

Myself would suggest a shorter cam to make the tq and let the HP numbers fall where they fall .

we have posted many 110 with the 10.5 piston kit and 58 t/b , there are many cams that will yield great low end tq.
