CABIN FEVER! Who is feeling my pain?
« on: January 24, 2016, 10:02:08 AM »

Hey bro's,  Just sitting here looking out the window and seeing all the snow one the ground.  Knowing the scooter is sitting in the garage all covered up with trickle charger keeping her fresh. Just wondering what everyone else is doing to pass the time to get back on the scoots!  Who is feeling my pain?

Oh man I'm feeling it.

Miss Susan and I have 4 cats in here with us that normally like to go outside a romp...they are starting to get restless....

I also fish a lot so I poured and tied a bunch of Jiigs for smallmouth. A little later we are gonna bust out of the house and head to Walmart...

I'm usually OK until about the first or second week in February and then winter really starts to get long in the tooth.  We've had a pretty mild winter this year, though, which we were due for.  Haven't been riding but it's 40 and sunny today so gonna fire up the grill.  That always seems to help ease the winter blues for a few days.

I'm hating it big time and definitely feel the pain. As I age the winters appear to get longer, snowier and colder - and it's not even February yet. My fork tubes just shipped back from Traxxion after a rebuild and spring can't get here soon enough...  :nixweiss:

Washed the car, outside, before football game came on in shorts and tee-shirt. No problems, reason I moved to Florida 23 years ago.

14" of snow in last 48 hours.  Salt, sand and Ice in the intersections and more than 3' along the Blue Ridge.  I'm not going anywhere until it's melted and some good rains clean the roads.   Oh, and I still need to decide what I'm doing when the engine goes back together.  ;)

We only got 9 inches but with half mile of sand and gravel road it is going to be quite awhile, maybe 3 weeks before it will be ok for the bike.

Gave something else to put another coat of wax on tho, and it was fun flattening the road and scooping the snow :)

It's 66 in Phoenix today and everyone is bitchin about how cold it is.  I guess when it's 118 same people will complain that it's a bit warm!
