iPhone issues with Bluetooth
« on: January 24, 2016, 05:23:36 PM »

I have an iPhone 6 that I sync to my 2015 CVO street glide to play music.  It'll work for weeks and then just stop working.  I can scroll through songs, receive calls, etc., but the music will not come through the speakers.  Last time I updated the radio and it worked but what do I do now?

This may sound like a stupid question, but did you try powering down your IPhone and then re-syncing it?

Not stupid at all.  And yes I did.  Hopefully it'll work in the morning.

Sometimes deleting the bike as a bluetooth source then re-pairing will work

If that doesn't work I had the same thing happen and I turned it to airplane mode and then back to normal. It started working fine after that. Haven't found anybody that can explain it though.....

Good luck!

I don't have a Rushmore bike but my experience with other Bluetooth devices is that they are not all that reliable for maintaining proper connectivity.  It is nice when it is working but can be flaky for sure.

I have a 2015 CVO FLTRUSE - I was unable to communicate with my iPhone 6s and the Bluetooth system, tried all of the previously stated fixes. Everything incoming in to the system (boom audio, Bluetooth and intercom headset) was garbled and the person on the far side could not understand me either. I researched and found that if you "reset" the network settings. This solved my problem and has worked perfectly since.
