Harley davidson factory on tv

I just saw a new series called "ultimate factories" to be aired this Sunday 1/28/07 on the National Geographic Channel. The three shows (in order) Harley-Davidson, Budweiser and Peterbilt will be aired starting at 8pm et and will be three 1 hr segments. Ok got my tivo set.

Here's a link to their website for more info. Lot of traffic, took me a while to get a video link the first time. Looks like they might be building v rods on the Harley show.

On direct tv channel 276 NGC is National geographic channel.

The Harley Ultimate Factories was very cool but the Budweiser - Ultimate Factories
Anheuser-Busch's 100-acre brewery in St. Louis "Blew me Away" now thats what I call  production, 1 Million Barrels a year  :o :o  :o :o :o :o :o :o

I was pretty impressed in how they straighten out the kinks in the frame on the V-rod after a double bend.

The method of welding the frame was also interesting, guess they need to pay the robot that welds the touring bike frames more money.

All in all the method of orginization and robotics were much more than I expected.

touring models are mostly welded by robots too. went through the York plant last April.  great tour.
