I was wanting a Quality Super Bright Led Taillight for a 2000 Harley
FXR4 CVO.  It is the older style  taillight that uses the 1157 socket.
I prefer to keep this type base due to the readily available replacement bulbs for Back up when on the Road.

  I have had a Bright Ass Taillight for several years.  Works good and you can change the pattern.

A lot of Harley dealers are now stocking Custom Dynamics so that may help getting an exact replacement (LED) on the road.

I installed the Custom Dynamics board. It was tricky mounting the board in the right spot. The instructions picture was vague on exact placement. The sticky pads stuck very well and was hard to remove. I couldn't get the lense back on to seal. Had to pry it loose, remove the sticky pads and use the supplied adhesive. Still wasn't right. I got some small bubble wrap in the lense and board. Applied the glue and mounted it. The bubble wrap helps it in place while the glue dried then I removed the bubble wrap then put back on.
Pain in the butt. Well its in place and very bright. I am happy

I have installed the Custom Dynamics LED boards in a couple of my HD's over the years, Five minute job, I had none of the problems that Itank did, just heated the lens a LITTLE prior to starting and it went very smooth. I recommend this as the brightest best route for the money and ease of installation.

I am very happy with my Custom Dynamics Tail/Brake light. I ordered two front yellow leds and two rear red led clusters. All 1157 type. I put 1157 in rear so I would have two extra stop light and retain my blinkers. Hopefully the people will see me when I slow down and won't run me over. Now all my lighting will be LED.
