Installed TW-777 cams in my 110" Roadglide, thundermax tuner, true duels with rinehart 4" , you all said install 10.5:1 pistons to make a big differane and bring the TW-777 cams alive......., I found the Wisco piston set VT-1757, will these bolt in with out any issues besides a good retune???? :apple:

Check the SE book, think they have pistons. Not a fan of Wiseco.

the oversize se pistons that aren't grey are made by Wiseco

  Suburban uses Mahle

Several vendors on this forum use CP

  I use Diamond or KB

that piston part number you listed is a 2.3 cc dome based on the info from the site.. that is not going to do much for increase in comp ratio better off milling the head..  you are going to need 7 cc dome  with a 030 hg to get to 10.5 with 95 cc chamber . This is just basic math your chambers may be smaller or could be larger ..  KB has 4.2 dome that would work also  I use KB , mahle CP ..  many ways to get there . Not a wiseco fan here so do not pay much if any attention to there product line up.

I got the part number form the 2016 SE parts book. Wouldn't be the first time it was wrong. Where can one find the dome sizes for SE pistons? thanks.

Just found this: http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=42120.0

Check the post from Sachs.

John, do you know who makes the grey?

Hello Ridgerunr.

I just fitted the ones from the Harley shop in UK, +0.010 for CVO 110"  RoadGlide Ultra. Photo of the box attached.
They are the matt grey ones shown in this link http://www.ultimaproducts.com/mahlepistons.html
They had Mahle etched on the top. Sorry I did not photograph them when fitting them.

I have looked them up on a number of HD forums, virtually all say they are good quality. The only semi down comment I found was some pistons are now made outside Germany (not even sure that is a problem if, as it says on the box, "made in USA" is correct).

Hope this helps.

John, do you know who makes the grey?

Hello again Ridgerunr.

Some more info here, the gent who prepared the cylinders for me wrote this on the bill: New Mahle 0.010” oversized pistons were sourced and the cylinders bored to match in torque plates. Requested measurements taken during the boring operation are attached. The new piston rings were gapped at 0.018” on the top rings, 0.016” on the second rings and 0.015” on the oil control rings as directed by Mahle."

Also for information I asked that the bores be measured before clamping in torque plates, after clamping in torque plates, after machining and still clamped in torque plates and finally after machining with torque plates removed. The readings are some where here (hopefully). The reason for this is just curiosity on my part to see if the torque plates actually moved the bore dimensions around. I would appreciate others views on the readings.

Seems like I can only attach one file so next file for rear cyl is on following post.
