Installing Brembo Rear Brake on Earlier Bike
« on: February 23, 2016, 07:26:13 AM »

If a late model FLH Swingarm will fit FXR4. Will the labuy  08 Brembo rear brake caliper and separate mount work on a FXR?  My earlier 2000 style caliper and mount is one peice and makes changing the rear tire a real pain in the butt. Being able to remove the caliper from the mount would make removing the tire/rim much easier.
Is there a big difference in stopping power between the two types?
Would the cost be worthwhile?  The pic is an older that does not show much new shocks.

As a side note.....look to trike conversion companies for the parts.

No difference in stopping power, they will both lock up the rear tire in a heartbeat...
