It is so cold in Canada, that you have to have some liquor in the veins just to keep from freezing.  Otherwise you gotta [highlight]plug in your block heater[/highlight].

Candy, I think the block heaters get plugged in after the liquor most of the time [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Last time I was in Canada,  There were electrical outlet's in the car park.  Now,  I can understand late night parties where you may want to plug in a light or a radio........but the freakin rental car companies should give you instructions when you pick the car up.  I never knew that you had to plug the freakin thing in at night (or even in the daytime).  Yup,  you guessed it.......block frozen tight.......Hertz was none too happy about it neither!!!!!  Lost them there freeze plugs.......OOOOOPS!!! [smiley=oops.gif] [smiley=oops.gif] [smiley=oops.gif].

Humans don't have to live like that......

Ahhh, little known fact that not all of Canada is in a deep freeze.  We on Vancouver Island are one of the exceptions and got out yesterday for a three-hour burn.  We could lend our block heaters to the orange growers in the South - what's that going to do to the price of OJ - yikes!

Not sure which I'd rather have, freezing or torrential rain, since we had blue skies withthe freeze and grey days with the rain, I'll take the cold.

That's just wasteful.  It's really good meat.  But somebody earlier did hit it on the head...  You need to pick them up before they get cold, (like overnight), because it does make the meat bitter...  I don't know why, but it does....

Wow, had no idea considered a delicasy in some parts.
So if I see this posted in a restaurant window in Kentucky, would I assume it is or is not served as entree?
