Handle B ars
« on: May 18, 2016, 04:30:55 PM »

Anyone here have any experience with KST Kustoms handle bars? I am looking for some new bars and so far the popular brands are 4-6 weeks out. According to some reviews most are longer than that. I called factory 47 today to get some info and was told the person I needed to speak with was out but would return my call. No call yet. Another company I was interested in doesn't even list a phone #. I figure if they are too busy to take an order or give info before the sale what the hell can I look forward to if any problems arise.FWIW KST Kustoms did answer the phone and I actually spoke with the owner. He was very helpful and answered my questions. Just looking for some feed back on this company if any is available. Thank you in advance. :confused5:

Hope your Bars come quickly from F-47.  I waited over the winter for 6 weeks and I ended up cancelling my order. My buddy ordered his back in the last week of march for his street glide and just received them last week.  That's crazy.  I ended up going with a bar called Vindikta.  My local bike shop here recommended them.  He had them on a few of his bikes at the shop and once I saw the quality I was on board. 1.5 thickness and the look a feel is great.  For any other guys reading this post and are thinking of changing bars I would check out there website.  High quality Bar. Looks and feels great.

I looked at the Vindikta Bars. They list no phone # on their website. I had a couple questions but with no phone # decided to go the other way. I am aware the F47's are a ways out time wise but for me there is no hurry.

Last year, Spring of 15 it too me 3 weeks to get my Factory 47 14" bars for my road glide.

I had ordered in Oct Yaffee Monkey bars, as I have had them on 3 bikes.  I was told Dec and I was ok with that.  Then in Dec, I was told Jan and so on, so in March when they said April I ordered the Factory 47.

I have been really happy with them.  I have put around 28K on the bike since adding the bars.

The F 47 bars came in Thursday morning. Bike is in the shop now, hopefully will be done Monday. The bars came in about 4 weeks, about what they indicated. They did a real nice job on everything.

before factory 47 became factory 47, buky was the one that did the fabricating if anybody remembers what was once a company named Buky bars?

I was reluctant to find BUky and have since bought my current bars from him and would never go anywhere else, but then again, it's just me, buying them directly from who I think is one of the best fabricators in the business.

That's where I got mine, good quality bars.

As it turns out the 12" F47's are way too short for me. 16s are on the way. Any one interested in the 12" let me know. Bars are pristine. They just don't work for my current set up.
