Rear End Noise
« on: June 28, 2016, 02:55:36 PM »

Over the winter I swapped out the rear shocks on my 2010 Street Glide for Legend Air Ride.  I am really enjoying the ride, but now am hearing a "clunk" sound when I go over bumps.  It sounds like the bike is bottoming out, but pressure gauge holds steady at 75psi where I usually ride.

Before I take it over to the dealer, any thoughts on quick things to check?  I've already checked for the rubber grommet on the jiffy stand, and rode the bike without the bags on it, so it's not those two things.

Thanks!

1st check all the mounting bolts on Frame and Swingarm.  Inspect the rubber bushings on the shock eyes.

75 psi seems high (jmho) for standard shocks.
