Go to the Street Glide forum and they have plenty to share.  I have a neighbor who wanted to do 10" or 12", decided on 12".  I asked questions and got lots of response from them.  They posted plenty of pics too.

When I did the 12" for him, he bought the switch harness cable extenders and we reused the TBW cable harness.  By the way, '16 does not have the large clunky 6-wire connector and we were able to just pull through the original TBW cable without taking it apart.  '15 and earlier is not so lucky though.  I would suspect that ALL '16s are the same with the small connector.

14 in Monkey Bars, had 16 in Cyclesmiths on my 2010 Ultra, they seem to be the same.

I can see the mirrors fine if I'm riding with good posture, but most of the time I need to lift  an arm out of that way to see anything. I put some additional mirrors on before our big loop this summer, just for additional visibility. Since I'm the "road captain" it's a lot easier to look into handle bar mounted mirrors and take good look vs raising and arm and looking under neath.
