New Audio system installed finally after 2 years!!
« on: November 16, 2017, 08:16:54 AM »

What to thank CKR stereo in Montgomery Al for the install job they did for me!! the System sounds amazing!!  Here is what I used on my 2012 CVO Street Glide with a 2015 king tour pak!!!!

Front end!!
Hybrid Audio Legatia SE L6SE Midrange / Midbass 7.1 inch, SE L1 R2 Tweeter, L2x two way passive crossover and a Rockford Fosgate TM400X2ad

Lowers!!
Hybrid Audio Clarus C61-2 6.5 inch with a Rockford Fosgate TM400X4ad powering the lowers and the rear bags

Rear bags!!
Hybrid Audio Imagine I57-2 Coaxial for Harley Davidson

Tour Pak!!
Rockford Fosgate TM750X1bd powering a Rockford Fosgate T1S1-10 in a custom enclosure!

The guys measures the power on all 3 amps with a O Scope and total RMS was 1900 watts.
I wish I could post the video with it playing it is so clear and the sound is so clean!!  I was worried about spending the extra money on the sub setup because I didn't think you would hear it but you do!!  He ported the tour pak behind the seat and it shakes the whole bike when it hits.  I can feel it in the seat moving!!!  Just had to replace original battery!!! I have the heavy duty stator and keep on Batt tender Just hope I have no electrical issues!!

$6200 in install and equipment, but amps were on sale and saved 800 bucks on the 3 amps but I had bought 3 of the RF PBR 300x2, 300x4 and 500x1 for $875 but im going to use them on my Kawasaki trex  build out!!! the new amps had fans and are better design for the motorcycle application for heat in front.! The subs was a Rockford t1 and the Hybrid Audio speakers are kind of expensive for the Legatia SE series!!  But man it is clean!! He documented the install for future jobs!!

You, sir, don't own a motorcycle, you own a mobile sound system. :)

If your wife starts cooking when she first hears you coming dinner should on the table when you walk in the door.
