Sorry Dave, I meant how much harder is the clutch lever to pull over stock, and does the clutch engagement feel any different (earlier/later) with the AIM?
It does not change when the clutch engages, pretty much the same as stock. Yes with the heaviest spring it is a harder clutch pull. Its not real bad though. Because of the lock up that your adding the cultch pull is not as hard as it would be if you were building the clutch up enough to hold the torque with out a lock up.
The harder pull does not bother me much except at a rally were you going 5 mph for and hour. Normally I do not notice the harder pull. A friend has a bike with the same numbers as my king, but he has an earlier style clutch, not the A&S in our bikes and my King. His clutch pull is much harder than mine to hold the same hp and torque.
