Thank You!
« on: February 28, 2007, 11:29:22 PM »

My thank you's to all that have helped me today.

It's amazing now nerve wrecking tearing into a $35k motorcycle can be even for what seems to be the simplest of installations. Thanks to the many wonderful people on this site, I was able to accomplish most of what I set out to do.

Thank you to Tim & Scott who came over to help with this small project. Removing the fairing was a lot easier with six hands! Your time was appreciated.

Gene (ESJ Jester) you are the man! I called Gene to ask him if we had too many wires. I couldn't figure out why there was an extra plug on the harness and where it went. Then we had wired the plug wrong so there was no power. Gene went out to his garage and took his fairing off to talk me through it. He said that he figured that anyone else on the site would do the same for him. What a great guy!

Rhino. Thanks! I PMed Rhino in a panic trying to figure which yellow wire to cut. He talked me out of my tree, and told me what to do and really put me at ease. We did not have all the parts on hand, so this is a project for a latter date, but at least I know what to get and where to do it.

Once again I can not thank you all enough for everything! AJ

Glad you got it AJ.  I knew i was procrastinating pulling my fairing to complete a few new projects for a reason....  I am  designing a relay system to automatically lock and unlock the bags and pack  when the alarm sensor gets into and out of range.  I never remember to lock it until i am 20 feet away then have to unlock the ignition, turn it on,hit the switch, shut it off and relock it(when in a strange town)...   maybe the switch could be used for the  Plazma display :nixweiss:

Forgot about him wearing that around the house breaking it in.  AJ, you'll like that a lot.  It's just handy as hell.  Works perfect with my plain jane little Razr.  Can answer and make calls all day long while buzzing down the road and folks never have a clue you're on the bike as long as the face shield is closed while you're talking.

I don't think there is enough room in there for the plasma any more. With Sassy keeping a hairdryer in the tourpack, I don't know whatelse to add.

See my other post about the pairing. I'm gonna change carriers if I can't get this thing to work properly damit! I'm lovin that Nolan! Thanks again.

I think a photocromatic windshield could just let Sassy, you, and anyone behind ya watch  your favorite dvd thru the next 10 ft harness they add for the oil cooler/dvdplayer? they will put it there for those HOT movies  i guess...    When i paired my razor and  my other moto  i had to some how ask the HK to download  the phone book.  it took a minute.   Have you tried slamming the blackberry on the ground a few times  to loosen up the gremlins?  ::)  I need to get my spare jeep ready for the Balmy breezes of the south soon i hope.  :huepfenlol2:

AJ,
These two bikes in this pic(Mine left and Sott's right) have the Zippers TMax and Auto Tune,
now if you want to ride with us and be able to keep up  while dialing and talking on your Blue Tooth...
then take the leap!!!HAHA.
You won't be disappointed with the TMAX!!!!
