Yeah, but if you're paying attention to the odometer, and your gas gauge, you can look for the lite too. Between these 3 things, you should be able to adjust your decision on when to stop. Don't rely on just one. I try not to push to squeeze every drop of fuel between fuelings. Sometimes, on the road, it's based on where the next gas station might be. Hoist! 8)
I'm paying attention to the road and enjoying the ride and the scenery.  Damn the gauges, full speed ahead!

It's simple, my F150 low level warning comes on and tells how many miles you have left.  It doesn't matter when the light came you still know.  It's not exact to be sure but it's always more than what it says by 1 or 2 gallons.

MoCo should have the odometer revert to miles left when the light comes on until you put gas in it!  It's all software...it ain't rocket surgery!

I guess the engineers ran out of genius on the alarm system...or was it before it?
