Good morning frank,

I send you the  :welcome_005: from FRANCE.

It'll be nice for the other members if you present you in the thread "New Member Introduction"
with a pic of your bike.  :2vrolijk_21:

Best regards

 :welcome_005:  Frank,

You may want to check the SEEG forum.  (FLHTCSE & FLHTCSE2 forum)

Here is a link to the thread about peeling chrome.  Yes, those wheels had some issues.  They were pretty much taken care of (or so I thought)?  I know a few guys that had the 04's and they had issues and got their wheels replaced.  Did you buy the bike new and are you just now having the peeling issue or did you buy it used?

Good Luck and welcome!!

Had two rears and one front replaced on 04 seeg. No questions ask by dealer.

If you got an 05 your cutting it close on warranty?

yes - I had both the front and rear wheels replaced twice on my 04 SEEG - and they did the replacement with no questions asked.  The first set was when the bike was still under the original warranty and the second set was after the warranty expired - the changed them out  - no charge - anyway - I have a very good dealer...
