Looks fabulous. . I really like the way it came out. . So clean.  Looks like everything belongs. . I have never thought of making my tp detachable on my rgu. . No reason to.  I'm glad it's always with me and knowing it's not going to walk away is a little comforting. . . Enjoy the space..tunes and how beautiful it looks. . Stuart.

Looks so much better without the ugly tourpak luggage rack. Thanks for photos's. Now have to figure some sort of decorative plugs for the mounting holes so I can remove my rack without buying a new T/P lid.

I'm another non-lover of the TP rack, especially since my wife started riding her own Ultra and space is no longer an issue.

Most likely you've figured it out by now... But just in case, H-D makes these cool strips just for the purpose of covering up the holes in the TP lid once the rack is removed.

My bike came out of the shop (when it was brand new) with these strips on, AND they happened to match the saddlebag trim perfectly!

Really nice set up...I have the King Tour pack without the lights, but was told at the time a wiring harness wasn't available...

How do the 4 inch front lower speakers sound on the road ?

Ok my bike is almost done. I put the color matched tour pak, ultra rear and side lights, 4 more boom audio 2 speakers and 2 more amps. Total of 8 speakers. Turned 1/2 way up its UNBELIEVABLE!!!!  I'll have a parts list for everyone by the end of the week. The tour pak is NON-detachable.

No it’s not available.

No it’s not available.

   It can be done, just needs additional wiring and Part # 91800039, ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY, as the CVO Limited. Depending on what wiring harness you used, you may already have spares.  If not its only two wires that need to be connected into the saddle bag lock wiring.

Having my 2018 CVO SG done next week with this 8 speaker upgrade now that I know it can be done. Also having Ohlins front forks and rear shocks installed. Pictures to follow.
