I'm working on a few modifications for Skunk Ryder's bike and one of them is adding rear speakers to his newly acquired King Tourpac, upgrading his faring speakers and possibly replacing his HK head unit.  We may go the Iron Cross route to save some money and keep it stock.  We only want one amp to drive the front and rear speakers making it as easy as possible to keep everything "driving" the system in the faring.  Then all I need to do is remove his tank to run the wires for the rear pods.  I'm making everything detachable so he can run without the King whenever he wants with little to no issues.

I've reviewed some of the posts in this grouping and looks like Iron Cross may be the better, least expensive option for his head unit.  However, if there are better replacements out there (the Jensen unit?) that will still work with the handlebar controls, I'm open for suggestions and reviews.

I also appreciate any input for speaker/amp options and reviews from those that have upgraded using Hog Tunes, Soundz Customz or any other company out there as long as it's one amp that will fit in the faring running 4 speakers (two faring, two on the King).

This will be a Winter project so we have a few weeks before settling on a system, ordering said system and installing.  Once everything is installed, it all comes off and heading to Joe for paint-to-match on the Skunk pattern... :2vrolijk_21:

Thank a bunch
