I was at the bike show in Istanbul and spotted 3 new CVOs.With these new additions now we got the CVO count in Turkey to 7.For statistical info we got here yello and charcaol vrods one each, 06 haze cuse, 06 yellow and blue fatboy (mine) and this years additions red roadking, tangerine springer and finally the red black jester.We will see if these will turn out to be garage queens or not.Both vrods are around 1000 km on the clock.I am sure that we will have at least one new member since i already talked with the springers owner and he lives in my town.Here are the pics.

Hey Altug,

Thanks for posting. The black v-rod looks really great! The R/B is good as well. Funny that CVOs in Turkey get sold in a show. Here they pre-sell them before the new year and you get them at the begining of the season. I ordered mine in October and the only advantage I had was in choosing the color. They called me at the end of November to confim the color as they sold the other one.

Another thing is that its not possible to count CVOs here as there are quite a few which are still imported through grey dealer.

Well some customers get the first shot before the show but they are pretty hush hush about the limited bikes.People here wont buy anything before they see and touch so not many people order them before hand.Also they dont knpw what color they will get here ot at least its what they said to me.

Altugo, be careful what you offer, I might take you up on it!  Seriously, I would like to come for a visit since I have many fond memories from my previous time there.  I know you have had 2 or 3 HOG rallies there in Turkey.  Have you been to any?  Is there one planned this year?  I was just on the HOG Turkey website but could not get everything in English and I am not fluent in Turkish.  But I did find an interesting link about a proposed (I don't know if it has been finalized) 1st European HOG Posse Ride in July 2008.  Do you have any additional information about this?  Who is in charge and what is the status?

Euro ride will be in spain and i guess they are forming a group to ride there from Turkey.I know Hog president i will call him and check what they are planning.By the way seriously it would be fun to meet you.Me you and the new guy that bought a springer can make a Izmir Turkey CVO gathering lol.Turkish hog isnt doing a national rally this year i got no idea why not tough.But there will be 7-8 rides all together during summer.What are you up to this summer?I remember you had other plans but havent decided yet.If you wish to come along let me know.

Altugo, I'm doing the big Posse Ride in July and signed up for several other rallies so my time is limited.  I need to look closely at the calendar and see what is possible.  I will get back to you my friend.
