How to adjust clutch on 13 cvo roadgluide
« on: June 04, 2020, 07:48:17 PM »

I’m not familiar with the hydraulic clutches. Bought the 13 roadgluide last year and the clutch feels that it needs adjusting as it seems to grab close to the end of its stroke

With the hyd clutches there is no adjustment. That being said sometimes a good bleeding to remove air bubbles might help

thats where the hydraulic clutch operates, there are some things you can change to move the zone that it engages. as far as adjustment there is none. i have just gotten use to it  :nixweiss:

I reverse bled mine a couple of years ago to replace all the fluid. You will be shocked how dirty it is.

I didn't care for how far out the lever had to be before the clutch would engage.  so I got an oberon adjustable clutch lever.  didn't really change where the clutch engaged, just my 'feel' of it.  not having my fingers extended as far out gave me more clutch control.

Not sure if it works on a 2013, but Harley finally did make a change to a damper spring seat in 2019 that changed the clutch stack height enough to move that engagement point closer to the lever.  I know it also works on earlier models, I'm just not sure how far back.

Jerry

See attachment for location and part number of the new seat for the damper spring.  Sure looks like it would work on the earlier models.
